Both of these cricketing greats have garnered praise for their remarkable consistency in the limited-overs format. Sachin achieved the 1000+ ODI runs milestone in the years 1994, 1996, 1997, 1998, 2000, 2003, and 2007, while Virat accomplished this in 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2017, 2018, 2019, and now in 2023.
It’s worth noting that Virat Kohli had a few relatively quieter years during the COVID-19 pandemic, and the Indian cricket team didn’t play as many ODIs as they did before the 2019 World Cup.
