Snehasish Ganguly, the president of the Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB), hinted at some exciting plans while keeping certain details under wraps. He mentioned that a unique cake with a theme inspired by Kohli will be a part of the festivities, but the design is being kept secret to ensure it’s a delightful surprise for fans.
“We have ordered a cake for Virat, and the design will be something everyone identifies with Virat Kohli. I am not sharing the pictures yet; let that be a surprise,” said Ganguly to RevSportz.
In addition, Ganguly has organized a breathtaking fireworks show during the mid-innings interval. This special display aims not only to pay tribute to Kohli but also to engage the audience in the joyous celebration.

Approximately 70,000 masks featuring Kohli’s face will be distributed to fans, adding to the festive atmosphere. Additionally, a captivating laser display is in the works, promising to treat spectators to a visually stunning experience.
“Also, we plan to host a fireworks show during the mid-innings interval for Virat and the crowd. It will be our way of celebrating his birthday and our way of saying that the entire Kolkata crowd is part of the celebrations. We are sure of a full house, and everyone in the stands is a Virat fan. It is a gesture on behalf of all of them,” Ganguly further added.
