The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has appointed former Mumbai cricketer Amol Muzumdar as the new head coach of the women’s team.
Amol Muzumdar, a former cricketer from Mumbai, has been chosen by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) to lead the women’s cricket team as its new head coach. This decision was made after careful consideration by the Cricket Advisory Committee, which includes Ms. Sulakshana Naik, Mr. Ashok Malhotra, and Mr. Jatin Paranjape.
On the 3rd of July, the CAC conducted interviews with several candidates in Mumbai. In addition to his first-class achievements, he also made appearances in over 100 List-A matches and 14 T20 games. Furthermore, he had the honor of being part of several Ranji Trophy-winning teams with Mumbai and later went on to represent Assam and Andhra Pradesh.
