On the second day of the third Test match between India and England at the Niranjan Shah Stadium in Rajkot, England opening batsman Ben Duckett showcased an outstanding performance, scoring a sensational century in just 88 balls.

Duckett reached his century in 88 balls, hitting a total of 19 fours and 4 sixes during his time at the crease. Right from the start of his innings, Duckett adopted an aggressive approach, taking on the Indian bowlers from the very first ball.

Before this match, Ben Duckett had scores of 35, 47, 21, and 28 in the first two Tests of the IND vs ENG series. Despite getting off to decent starts, Duckett struggled to convert them into substantial scores. Alongside opener Zak Crawley, Duckett managed to contribute 89 runs for the first wicket, providing a solid start for the England team.

Turning our attention back to the third Test between INDvsENG, the hosts concluded their first innings at 445 runs after finishing Day 1 at 326/5. Ravindra Jadeja, who scored 116 runs, couldn’t add many to his overnight total on Day 2. Indian captain Rohit Sharma emerged as the top run-scorer with 131 runs, while debutant Dhruv Jurel showcased some skill with his 46 runs off 104 balls. Ravichandran Ashwin also chipped in with 37 runs from 89 balls.
