The ICC T20 World Cup 2024 will feature a total of 20 teams, organized into four groups of five teams each. The top two teams from each group will progress to the Super Eights stage. In this phase, the eight teams will be divided into two groups of four, and the top two from each group will move on to the semifinals.
Team India finds itself in Group A, alongside traditional rivals Pakistan, as well as Ireland, Canada, and the USA, who are also hosting the event. The Men in Blue kick off their campaign on June 5 against Ireland, followed by a clash with Pakistan four days later. On June 12, they will take on the USA before concluding their group-stage matches against Canada on June 15.
