Yashasvi Jaiswal has once again showcased his exceptional batting skills in international cricket by securing his second double-century in the initial three matches of the series.

As the Indian team commenced their second innings at 196/2, the partnership between Shubman Gill and Kuldeep Yadav added 55 runs for the fifth wicket. Unfortunately, Shubman Gill fell just nine runs short of achieving his second century in the series.

Following Shubman Gill’s run-out, Yashasvi Jaiswal entered the crease and played a remarkable innings, scoring 104 off 133 balls before retiring hurt due to back spasms. Resuming his batting on the fourth day, the 22-year-old left-handed batter reached his 150 runs off 192 balls, maintaining his impressive form throughout the series.

During my time at RR, I was truly impressed with Jaiswal’s work ethic and commitment to the game. I have seen such a level of dedication from only a handful of youngsters throughout my career.
This kid is special, and this is definitely not the ceiling for him❤️
Well played!👏
