The Indian team, batting first, showcased their prowess by amassing a formidable total of 356 runs. India got off to a terrific start in the match, and it seemed like they were on pace for a huge total, courtesy to outstanding efforts by Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill, both achieving their second half-centuries of the tournament. When it came to their turn to bowl, India effectively dismissed Pakistan for a meager 128 runs, with Kuldeep Yadav excelling by collecting five wickets, marking his second five-wicket haul in ODI cricket. This triumph stands as India’s fourth-largest margin of victory against an opponent in ODIs in terms of runs. India would be eager to carry this winning spirit into their upcoming Super Four game against Sri Lanka on September 12th in Colombo.
