Asia Cup Schedule And Venues Confirmed For Super 4 Stage, India And Pakistan Will Clash On September 10

The Asia Cup Super 4 stages are all set to kick off this Wednesday, featuring the four teams that have secured their spot in the next phase of this 50-over tournament. Sri Lanka, one of the co-hosts, stormed into the Super 4 stage with a spectacular win over Afghanistan on Tuesday, adding an extra dose of excitement to the competition.

Pakistan and India, the arch-rivals, have successfully moved to the Super 4 stage of the Asia Cup tournament from Group A. Joining them are Sri Lanka and Bangladesh, who secured their places from Group B. In the forthcoming Super 4 stage, these four teams will compete in three more matches to determine who earns the coveted spot in the one-off final due to take place in Colombo on September 17.

Kicking off the Super 4 stage, Pakistan will play host to Bangladesh at Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium. Following that, Bangladesh will meet Sri Lanka at the R. Premadasa Stadium on September 9. The much-anticipated battle between arch-rivals India and Pakistan will unfold at the R. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo on September 10. Two days later, Rohit Sharma’s squad will return to the same location to take on Sri Lanka on September 12.

On September 13, Sri Lanka will encounter Pakistan in a critical match in Colombo, setting the atmosphere for an epic duel. The Super 4 stage will culminate with a face-off between India and Bangladesh on September 15.

Out of the six Super Four matches, one will be hosted in Lahore, while the remaining five will take place in Colombo. 

The two top-performing teams by the end of the Super 4 round will square off in the final at Colombo’s R. Premadasa Stadium on Sunday, September 17.

September 6: Pakistan vs Bangladesh, Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore

September 9: Sri Lanka vs Bangladesh, R Premadasa Stadium, Colombo,

September 10: Pakistan vs India, R Premadasa Stadium, Colombo

September 12: India vs Sri Lanka, R Premadasa Stadium, Colombo

September 14: Pakistan vs Sri Lanka, R Premadasa Stadium, Colombo

September 15: India vs Bangladesh, R Premadasa Stadium, Colombo
