Australia claimed its sixth World Cup victory on November 19 after triumphing over India in the final. The euphoria that followed the victory took an unforeseen twist when an Australian media outlet issued a nasty and derogatory statement targeting Team India. In response, Australian skipper Pat Cummins addressed the comment with his own perspective but fans were unhappy after his remarks.

Despite maintaining an unbeaten record throughout the tournament, India faltered under the pressure on the crucial day to win the World Cup trophy and end up their trophy drought. Travis Head’s outstanding century played a pivotal role as the Australians successfully chased down a target of 241 with six wickets to spare.

In the aftermath of their World Cup 2023 triumph, an Australian media outlet sparked controversy by sharing a derogatory and offensive comment about Team India. The post, titled ‘South Australian Man Gives Birth To World Record 11 Sons,’ garnered attention for its inappropriate content. Notably, Australian cricketers Glenn Maxwell and Aaron Finch liked the post, while reports indicated that Australia’s captain, Pat Cummins, initially liked it but later unliked it following widespread condemnation. The post has since gone viral, much to the disappointment of Indian fans.

Australia’s captain, Pat Cummins, initially responded to the controversial post with laughter emojis, suggesting a light-hearted tone. However, as the comment faced widespread criticism, Cummins reportedly unliked it, indicating a recognition of its inappropriate nature.

The discussion around the role of social media in amplifying such controversies and its impact on players and the team’s image is gaining momentum.

The initial involvement and subsequent disassociation of the Australian skipper from the derogatory post are intensifying the controversy, prompting questions about the mindset and values within the Australian cricket team.

This is the thing we nvr want that's why the Final was very important for all Indians. Now Rohit and Kohli must play T20 World Cup together and I wish India will play against Australia and we will take revenge 😡💥. And no more friendly behaviour in series with Australia.

Don't worry, soon ODI will be obsolete, so will be Australia dominance of winning those 50 over WCs. As cricket is entering Olympics and it was good to see India win Gold in China in the recent Asian Games. Let Aussies be happy with their bilateral Ashes & a few Test games.

Not an issue. Indian Fans will take care of these born Cheaters, remember what they were caught doing in South Africa. The 2018 Australian ball-tampering scandal, also known as the #Sandpapergate scandal, was a cricket cheating scandal surrounding the Australian team.

No more friendly relations with Aussie cricketers… Now they have exposed their real inner character to us… No need to get disturbed.. Set our boundaries and hit yhem back in our own way…. Har Har Mahadev

Best reply for indian team henceforth wherever we play with Aussie we should treat it as India Pak match and defeat them as an when we play. Secondly our players and public should resort to physiological game with Aussie
