English all-rounder David Willey experienced a notable amount of criticism from Indian cricket enthusiasts after sharing his perspectives on societal contrasts in India through Instagram stories. Willey’s posts featured images of local construction and buildings.

As England prepares for their last match against Pakistan at Eden Gardens in Kolkata on Saturday, November 11, it marks Willey’s farewell game for the team. Despite being eliminated from the tournament, England is bowing out while Pakistan still holds a mathematical chance of advancing.

Prior to the game, David Willey sparked a major controversy by posting two stories on his Instagram account where he is showing two different scenes related to India. It is yet to be confirmed what context his stories hold but fans are definitely not happy with his stories.

He's just showing his thought process. Typical English behaviour. Nothing more, nothing less.
It's good that he showed it out in the open, now everyone knows their true intentions.
Agar tum log abhi bhi inko support karoge toh tumse badha moorkh koi nahi hoga, simple. https://t.co/HPLU0svRmv
